How do I Adopt?

Due to the times we are currently living in we need to suspend adoptions/home visits/veterinary reference calls for our dogs.  This is in compliance with Governor of Indiana's Executive Order.    As you can imagine we have difficulty getting appointments for our Rescues with our Vets as the Veterinary Community is working under restrictions and most are handling urgent care visits only now.

We will continue to respond to your applications and will answer all and any questions we can that you may have about a particular dog.   Please understand we truly appreciate your interest in our dogs and will do all we can to get back to finding "Forever Homes" for our dogs as soon as we are able.

Adoption Fees

The adoption fee to adopt a puppy or young adult up to 18 months of age is $250.
For adults over the age of 18 months, the adoption fee is $200.
For seniors 9 years of age and over, the adoption fee is $75.

Since we are a non-profit organization and the adoption fee often does not cover the expenses of providing routine and necessary medical care for the individual sheltie, donations above the adoption fee are welcome, appreciated, and tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

What happens after I submit my application?
