Sheltie Rescue of Central Indiana

Sonic is such a delightful character! This 8-year-old neutered male Sheltie, with his striking sunburned bi-black coat, truly embodies a friendly and easygoing spirit. He has a penchant for the outdoors, particularly enjoying the serene shade provided by the grand maple trees in your yard.

 

Despite facing some challenges with thyroid issues, which are now well-managed and have returned to normal levels, Sonic has made significant progress. When he first joined our family, he weighed nearly 50 pounds and found it difficult to engage in much exercise. Now, at a healthier 38 pounds, he's becoming increasingly active, which is heartwarming to see.

 

Sonic's personality shines through in his love for trips to places like Lowe’s, where he enjoys the attention and affection from those he meets. He is patiently waiting for a forever home where he can continue to thrive and share his gentle nature.
