Dolly is a sweet loving girl. She has a playful side, she likes biting at her tail. She has shown no interest in playing with toys.

Dolly loves having her belly rubbed every chance she can.  When she wants a belly rub she will "stop, drop and roll" on her side or back waiting for her belly rub which happens quiet often.  She loves having her belly brushed or combed, she is not picky.

She gets along with cats and other dogs. She likes older children.

Dolly is missing several teeth on both top and bottom, she has been eating canned food. She has had canned food mixed with softened kibble mixed in however she prefers canned food. She prefers soft treats she will eat a biscuit when offered. She loves denta sticks after her evening meal she gets two small ones. She shares a cheese stick every morning with her brother and sister.

Dolly does not like sleeping in bed with her foster mom. She prefers her bed where she can see her foster mom at all times.

When Dolly needs to go out she will alert you with a soft whine or bark. She is sensitive to any strange noise and will bark to let you know something is going on that she thinks shouldn't be.  She is the watch girl of the house.  Thunderstorms scare her, she will cuddle with her human or go hide in a safe place.

Dolly would do well with someone who is retired or works part time.  She would prefer to be the only dog in the house or perhaps one sibling. She pushes her way in to make sure she is getting her share of pets when her foster mom is petting her brother and sister. She ignores her two kitty siblings most of the time.

A fence yard is preferred for Dolly, she walks well on a leash and rides quietly in the back seat. She has attended a few events since being in her foster home, she was well behaved and ready to go home to relax after the events.
