Sheltie Rescue of Central Indiana

Maci is a sweet, very active little girl. She came into rescue when her family discovered their son was allergic to her. She's about 12 inches tall and loves to run! She loves to be outside and can outrun all her fur-siblings. Maci would do best in an active home and would probably be a good agility dog. She knows the command sit and will come when you call her, provided you can get her to focus on you when she's in run mode. She is really good about stopping and letting you pick her up if you get in her path. Maci likes to play with toys but prefers playing with her fur siblings. She is also a little cuddle bug when it's quiet time. Maci is such a tiny sweet little girl, she will let you cuddle her like a baby and love on her.

She is crate trained and likes to sleep at your feet at night. We are working on the potty training. She knows to go outside but is not very vocal when she needs to potty. She will whine a little but mainly does figure 8's at the back door when she needs to go out.  Maci walks pretty good on a leash however, she is not fond of cars and will start hoping, spinning and pulling to run after a car when one drives by. She also runs the fence when cars drive by. Maci will need a fenced yard at her forever home.
