Well, I must confess I got that name because I howl.  When I get excited I like to talk and howl.  A lot of things scare me.  It would be best if I had a secure fenced yard and someone that didn't mind going out with me.  I probably should not be around small children as they are scary to me.  I have learned how to play with toys since I have been in my foster home.  Mom get down on the floor and plays with me.  It is great fun.  I do not like to be left alone.  Too scary.  Mom has promised that we are going to go to class and a lot of other new things.  Whoowhoo.

February 10th

Sorry I haven't written in a long time. I have very big news to tell you about me. At my foster home I would jump up on the couch and cry out in pain. Sometimes when my foster Mom would pet my behind I would cry out in pain. So she took me to Dr. Baker at Bargersville Vet Hospital, who took x-rays of my hips. I have Hip Dysplasia. My right hip was really really bad. Because I am so young, Sheltie Rescue of Central Indiana took me to see Dr. Lee at Northwood Vet Hospital in Anderson. He took a look at the x-rays and said he could fix me. So Mom and Aunt Jean left me there so I could have surgery the next day.

It has been about 7 weeks since surgery and it worked. I still limp a little but I am jumping up on the couch again. I am also running the fence to play with the neighbor furkids. I am on constant patrol for the squirrels and the big black birds. I also sound the alarm when a neighbor walks his doggy.

Mom says that I probably should not go to a home with children under 8-10 years old. Smaller children might forget about my hips and hurt me. I am still just a little tender.

Mom thinks I am beautiful and is sendin
g new pictures to prove it. The first picture on the website is my first day and still scared picture.

I am recovering from my second surgery and doing pretty well. I still do not like to put any weight on the second foot and do a lot of hopping around the house but when I run the fence playing with the neighbor dogs I forget and run just fine on all four feet. I go to see Dr. Cindy for physical therapy once or twice a week. She also gives me deep massages that make me howl.

Hi everybody.

I am ready to find my new home. Mom has taken me to some events and I did fine. I am walking well on my new hips and can run like the wind and do stairs fine too. So here are the rules for my adoption. No small children and a fenced yard is a must. Mom says I need to tell everyone that I am very vocal and bark and howl. I am okay with other doggies and cats.

Waiting for my forever home...Chewy
