Tri-Color Male 4 Years Old 15.5 Inches Tall 29 Pounds Last updated May 23rd Pending Hello, my name is Mack I'm 4yrs old and I stand 15.5 tall. When I came into rescue I was a little on the plump side ( 281/2 lbs. ) The human people here put me on a diet and I am losing some of my excess padding. I was not looking forward to that , today I weigh 25pds and I'm still losing. I like to run and play outside. I also like to watch the birds. I get along with kids,( they ususally drop the food ),HA! HA!. I also get along with other dogs, I really do not get along with cats. I like to go for walks and sit by you on the sofa. I will also cuddle in bed with you if allowed. 5/11/08 Mack here with an update. I’m doing well in my foster home. I love to bark at the squirrels (have to keep them out of the yard, you know), but my foster mother is working with me so I don’t bark at them as long. It’s one of my foster sisters’ job to bark at cars, so I’m currently just ignoring them. I often follow the other shelties here when they go into the house. Can’t miss out on a possible treat, you know, and whoever is not there when treats are handed out doesn’t get one. I have also let people know that I don’t like storms, and will bark at the noise of the rain and thunder. However, I now have medication that helps with that. When she vacuums, I get on the couch or go into another room. My favorite place to be is wherever my foster mother is. I like to lie on the couch when she is sitting there. Sometimes I cuddle next to her and sometimes I lay at the other end. I know my name and sit when I am told. I also like to go ‘bye-bye’ and ride well in the car.
