When I came into rescue I was very thin
because I had been tied out for 3 weeks with no food or water. I have
now gained 6 pounds and had my first Heartworm treatment. Mom thinks
that at some time during my life I was also mistreated as I am extremely
hand shy. Also when she yells at the deaf or almost deaf doggies here, I
cringe. She says I am very very sweet and have a gentle soul. I like to
prance and play when we are outside. I am completely housebroken.
March 26th I have had my second Heartworm treatment and I am doing fine. I love to cuddle with Mom and have her pet me between my eyes Although I am not neutered yet, I have never ever marked in the house. I am a non dominate male boy and have never showed my theethies at anyone here at the foster home. If there is an argument here at the house between any of the other doggies, I can bounce backwards to get out of their way...it's mostly noise. Mom yells louder then they bark to break it up...and then there is the squirt bottle. I do get anxious when it gets time for breakfast or dinner. I like to bark at Mom to hurry up and feed me. I don't like to go outside unless you go with me. Mom believes both of these are due to me being tied out for 3 weeks with no food or water prior to being rescued.
