It was a great day had by all -- many thanks to the Mountford family for being hosts once again.  Hours of preparation went into getting ready for over the 100 plus four legged guests with their people by John and Debbie as well as the Jacobs, Bares, Boulangers, Sue Moore, and others.  John Mikesell once again played head chef and slaved over hot coals preparing hot dogs and hamburgers to compliment the many delicious side dishes contributed by the guests.

 

Several fosters found their forever homes including our Rocket who picked out his family. 

 

The prestigious Torrie Award went to SRCI most deserving past president - Phil Majer -- woohoo -- way to go Phil!  Kim Edwards received recognition for her volunteer efforts in fundraising and coordinating events to showcase our rescue furkids.

 

Many cameras were flashing during the adoption parade -- I am sure that there will be many pictures shared in the next days to come.

 

The Wilson pups slept on the way home.  It was a good day.
